• No stranger to the big stage, Eric's past assignments include coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics with NBC, 2019 Men's and 2020 Women's FIFA World Cups with FOX, Big 12 College Football with ESPN and primetime reality TV with Discovery, Inc.

 

• While sports media experience dominates his resume, his professional passions also include hard news journalism and documentary filmmaking. Regarding the latter, Eric achieved festival success with his 2018 doc "Learning the Ropes," co-directed with Trenton Daeschner.

• Eric is a natural-born collaborator. He is invigorated by opportunities to work alongside talented teammates and learn from their creative strengths. On the job, his gregarious personality lends itself to forming meaningful friendships with colleagues.

• As a proud Texas Ex, Eric enjoys supporting Longhorn football and basketball on weekends, as well as rock climbing, playing soccer, and being near water. He is an avid traveller – especially to Spain, where he has close family – and relishes any opportunity to travel for work. His dream is to direct an Oscar-winning documentary.
